British-American journalist and pundit Mehdi Hasan recently gave his thoughts on the present situation in Iran and suggested that Trump could be Lindsey Graham’s puppet.

Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored on March 11 2026, Zeteo’s Editor-in-Chief Mehdi Hasan empahised on the fact that President Donald Trump is a man who has been easily manipulated into the war with Iran.

Hasan uses claims made by Republican Senator Lindsey Graham on a Street Journal publication dated March 07 2026. In the article titled ‘Lindsey Graham’s Quest to Sell Trump on Striking Iran,’ the senator brags on how he used word-association games to lead the president Trump into war with Iran.

Hasan also said, Senator Lindsey claims he flew to Israel to coach Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on how to manipulate president Trump to go to a war with Iran.

Hasan believes president Trump is an old fashioned imperialist who wants to dictate economic policies of governments around the world and this can be seen through his dire need to change the leadership in Iran and Venezuela.

Hasan condemns president Trump for his poor Geo-political strategies that has left the United States of America with little or no victories.

Although president Trump brags about the victory of the United States military, his statements on the media are not grounded in reality.

False claims made by president in the Iran war

• Trump claims that United States Army has defeated Iranian navy, but in reality, America has not gained control over Strait of Hormuz

• Trump claims United states has defeated the Iranian army but this is false because he has begged NATO members to join America in his quest to take over Strait of Hormuz.

• Trump claims Iran has no chance and will back out of war but the United States embassy in Iraq has just been hit by a drone strike as several western leaders call for de-escalation in Lebanon.

Trump’s delusional war victories

• Israel-Iran Conflict has been going on for 12 days and leadership has not changed as Trump anticipated it will be done within 10 days.

• Rwanda-Democratic Republic of Congo peace agreement announced by US in June 2025 has not Brought peace in Eastern DRC. Drone attacks that killed three people were reported in Goma on March 11 2026.

• Thailand still has much control in border areas with Cambodia.

• Relation between Ethiopia and Egypt remain tense over the Ethiopia-built Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam. There are fears of possible escalation.

• Gaza war: Israeli settler attacks in the occupied West Bank continue.
