Aspire Institute Recommends Women's Empowerment leader, Aïssata Sidibe.

Aïssata Sidibe, Director of Afriquefemme.com and President of Yelenba-Women in Action from Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire has warmed the hearts of Aspire Institute Alumni while speaking at the Women Empowerment and Leadership Conference yesterday.

Aissa Sidibe has been a key figure inspiring and motivating women around Central African and West African regions and yesterday was not any different. She brought her ‘A game’ to the table as usual when advising women who feel neglected to practice self awareness and push beyond boundaries to achieve the positive change.

“I am proud to stand alongside those working to improve the condition of women in our countries because unity really makes strength, and every little action counts.” Sidibe wrote in an Instagram post emphasising on the essence of advancing cohesiveness amongst women’s in today’s diverse society.

Sidibe also made recent public speaking appearances at the Women’s Investment Club in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire and served as a panel at the Emerging Women Leaders Conference organised by Hafou Touré, founder of HTS Partners, an organisation focusing on the betterment of a woman’s position in the community.

Razreen Sira, Extended Leadership Projects Lead of Aspire Institute commended Sidibe for her continuous efforts to stand by women and everyone concerned for a productive environment where women play pivotal roles in the African ecosystem. In an email sent to Sidibe on behalf of Aspire Institute, Sira highlighted the importance of building a strong network while seeking job opportunities and telling your unique story wherever you are to standout as part the lessons learned from Sidibe. According to Sira 136 guests also attended the conference via zoom with at least 90 of them staying for a minimum of 10 minutes.

Sidibe holds a BA is Economics and MBA from University College, University of Maryland. She was former Communication Officer of International Monetary Fund (IMF) from 2011 to 2015, Communication Expert for Comité National pour la mise en œuvre du Programme Compact du Millennium Challenge Corporation Côte d’Ivoire (CNPC-MCC) from 2016 to 2018, West Africa Communication Officer for African Enterprise Challenge Fund (AECF) Nairobi Kenya from 2018 to 2020.
