Eswatini government reunites Trump's Jamaican deportee with family

Orville Isaac Etoria, 62 from Jamaica who was deported by Trump’s administration to Eswatini has been released to return home and reunite with his loved ones.

Etoria who has a permanent residency status in the United States of America was one of the victims forcefully removed by Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) during recent crackdown on illegal immigration.

Many social media users, Pan-Africanists and activists have applauded king Mswati III for extending ubuntu to the Jamaican citizen who was being held alongside four other deportees from Cuba, Laos, Vietman and Yemen in solitary confinement at Matsapha Maximum Security Prison, Eswatini.

King Mswati’s administration is currently reviewing a legal process to allow the remaining four deportees relocate to their home countries.

Trump’s administration continues to face backlash in the manner in which it is going about in executing mass deportations. Many children have been separated from their parents, vulnerable individuals and as well as innocent men and women have been affected.
