KENYA

Raila Odinga dies at 80

Kenya’s former prime minister, Raila Odinga who served from 2008 to 2013 is died at the age of 80 on October 15 2025 while receiving medical treatment in India and is buried Kenya. on October 17, two people were killed and 160 others injured when police fired live rounds to disperse an unruly crowd during his corpse viewing at Nairobi’s Nyayo National Stadium.

After several days of Gen Z protest and the escape of Madagascar’s leader Andry Rajoelina, Colonel Michael Randarianirina has been sworn in as new president on October 17 2025.

bus accident kills 42 Zimbabwean and Malawian Nationals

On October 13 2025, 42 immigrants of Malawian and Zimbabwean origins were killed during a bus accident that occurred in Limpopo province. The victims including a 10 months old baby were leaving South Africa at the time of the accident
