Ola Of Lagos loses car showroom
A case of corruption, negligence, endangerment of lives and love for money.

Lagos State government demolish showroom of Nigerian car enthusiast, Waris Akinwande.

Although the exact reason for the demolition has not been made public by government officials, Critique Africa gathered video evidence indicating that the showroom was constructed near high tension electric power cables.

How Akinwande succeeded in building his showroom in an area that is not safe to erect a business structure raises serious concerns about his ethics as a businessman who should prioritise public safety.

Because the area is declared unsuitable by town planning experts, this has sparked a debate across social media regarding corruption within Nigeria’s Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.

It is suspected that Akinwande may have acquired his permit through fraudulent means.

Insiders from Lagos state government have made it clear that officials who are not corrupt will continue to demolish structures built in areas deemed unfit for business or housing.

Akinwande has not yet acknowledge any wrong doing regarding his choice of business site and endangering the lives of his customers . He took to his Instagram account to announce he will be setting up a new showroom as soon as possible.

“Pending the time our new office will be ready, you can Call/WhatsApp for clean cars as usual. You will love it” he said while reassuring his admirers of a continuous and prosperous business venture.

Akinwande popularly known as Ola of Lagos began his career by filming luxury cars and posting them online for likes. After gaining a huge following across social media, he started travelling around the world to interview ‘fast car’ owners.

Akinwande’s sense of humour, great fashion taste and grandeur lifestyle choices earned him the title of ‘King of Luxury’ which he would later exploit and become one of the most appreciated car dealers in Lagos city through his OOL Group company.
